Carol J. Rathman, nee White, 87, of Streamwood passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024. Beloved wife of Dyrle D. Rathman for over 67 years. Devoted mother of "Her Five Boys," Cory (Reneé), Dana (Darlene), Jody, Kurt (Nancy) and Bryce (Brenda). Loving grandmother of Ryan (Jessica), Cara (Justin), Anna (Dan), Jillian (Marc), Jake, Jordan (Sean), Nicholas (Amanda), Brendon (Allyssa), Ryley, Brea (William), and Brody (Bethany). Caring great grandmother of sixteen. Cherished sister of Patricia (the late William) Kopp and the late Richard Thomas White. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Born December 31, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Richard and Dorothy White.
Carol graduated from Maine Township High School and attended Illinois State Normal University. She married Dyrle Rathman on December 29, 1956 at Des Plaines United Methodist Church. As a young family, Dyrle and Carol moved into a new community, Hoffman Estates and joined Our Saviour's Methodist Church (OSUMC). Carol served OS
