Edward J. Augustin Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on June 30, 2024. He is best remembered as the loving patriarch of a large family. Ed loved to golf, most especially with his children. A gifted General Contractor, he spent his working days building many communities including Lake Barrington Shores.Ed is survived by his children, Edward (Maggie) Augustin III, Kathryn (Vic) LaMantia, Donald (Sandy) Augustin, Suzanne Augustin, Scott (Char) Schwar, and Sandra (Richard) Giese. Ed was a "fun" Papa to 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Ed was a devoted uncle to Kathleen (Carl) Schrock, Denise (Ted) Connelly, and Michael (Sharon) Connelly.
