Lucy AndersonLucy Anderson passed away on March 7, 2025, in Batavia, IL. She was born on December 17, 1932 to Dominick and Lucy LaRooka in Geneva, IL. She was married to Robert Anderson on November 3, 1951 in Geneva.Lucy had three children, Amy (James) Gorski, Bruce (Kenna) Anderson, and David (Suzy) Anderson. She was very proud of her 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and would brag about them to her many friends at the Holmstad as well as to her wonderful caregivers. She was predeceased by Bob, her husband of 69 years, and by her beloved grandson, David Davenport.She met her future husband, Bob Anderson, at Geneva High School and always said she was in love with him from the first time she saw him. Having come from a family of 9 and a neighborhood full of friends and relatives, she was still able to adjust to a much different lifestyle on the farm west of Batavia where she lived for 50 years.
