Starting at the Daily Herald at the age of 17, he spent nearly five decades in the circulation department, eventually rising to the position of senior vice president of circulation before retiring in 2018. His commitment to his work and his strong work ethic left a lasting impact on the newspaper and the people around him.In addition to his career, Jim shared a remarkable 51 years of marriage with Dianne, whom he met in high school.
