James Raymond BruckmanJames Raymond Bruckman, 81, of Mount Prospect, died peacefully in his home on March 26, 2025, with his family by his side.James was born in Chicago on November 17, 1943, to parents John and Vivian (nee Sekenski) Bruckman.He met Bernadine Koziol at a work event and the couple were married on June 7, 1969. They were happily married for 52 years until her death on November 19, 2021.James was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, and he diligently served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he went on to become the Vice President of Chapter 311 Vietnam Veterans Association where he faithfully supported his fellow veterans.James loved his children and was very family-oriented, taking them to museums, the zoo, Navy Pier, and family vacations to Walt Disney World and Cedar Point. He enjoyed model trains and spent countless hours in his garden. He also enjoyed sports, including bowling and fishing, and loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chi
